So…Some may think we never made it north because this blog had all but disappeared but fear not those who are faithful to come back for more Powell news we are alive and well and are so excited to be back in Michigan. The sad part is that we have not had internet access so it has been hard to do any updates. On top of that the craziness of moving twice and having job searching and having a one and two year old made a bit hard as well!

We have now been in our house three weeks!!! We are so excited and I can’t wait to post pictures of our new casa. Scott has been working at the tree farm full time as he interviews and applies for jobs. The kids have adjusted beautifully and every day we see them open up more and more. We have been beyond blessed by our families who have taken every opportunity to shower us with love, support and manual labor!

We are visiting Bethel this weekend, I have a wedding to go to so we thought it would be a good chance to bring the kids down to meet so many of the people that prayed them home. It has been so good to reconnect with students and some of our teammates; we have really missed their fellowship and were so wanted to hear about everyone’s summer adventures.

Live is very full right now, we feel that we are where God wants us to be and that peace far outweighs the uncertainty. I am going to try to keep this blog up so that we can have a way to stay connected to people and let them know the adventures that God is taking up on. I would love to know if anyone is still reading though, if not this blog is a bit pointless. So if you could leave a comment just so I know if it is worth it to keep posting that would be great. Thanks so much, that is all form the North Country right now!
